Food Facts
The origin of this dressing seems to have come from the Thousand Islands region in upstate New York and Canada that boarders Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. The dressing contains chunky ingredients that resemble thousand of tiny islands.

Chili sauce is a ketchup-based sauce used as a condiment. You can usually find it in the grocery store aisle near the ketchup and barbecue sauces. Heinz is a major brand.

This is such a versatile dressing. It tastes great on all types of salads such as taco, seafood, chef and dinner salads. In addition, it makes a wonderful spread for sandwiches and a dip for veggies.
